Arthur Ashe is the first and only African-American tennis player to win the Wimbledon Finale in 1975 against Jimmy Connors. But that's not all about our hero Arthur Ashe. Accidentally getting AIDS transmitted to his body through a surgical procedure, he spent the rest of his life advocating young Americans about AIDS. Before the incident, Arthur Ashe had always been fighting against racism using his talent on the tennis court. He believed that in order for his voice to be heard, he got to stand out, and the racket in his hand will be a powerful tools to realize that goals. As a person, Ashe is a calm and quiet person with wise words and a great heart. Gone too soon--he'll always be missed.
